    COMMUNITY SERVICES & PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT

           
    • Community in Schools- Through our congregational donations, we help to empower success for all students in the Clear Creek ISD by removing barriers for vulnerable students at risk of dropping out.
    • God's Work Our Hands Service projects- members and friends of the church gather for a day of service, ministering to those in need in our congregation, community, and world.
    • Family Promise- on a quarterly basis, House of Prayer hosts homeless families at the church for a week at a time.  Church members and friends prepare meals for the families and act as overnight hosts.
    • Hospital Visitors- a team of people who faithfully visit members/friends who are in area hospitals or homebound.  To join this team or request a hospital visit, contact our Pastor.  
    • Lutheran World Relief - House of Prayer collects items for baby care kits, school kits, fabric kits, and personal care kits; and offers fair trade coffee, tea, and chocolates through LWR.  To donate or assist, contact Beverly Curtice curtice@swbell.net.    
    • Prayer Chain-a team of people who pray for those in need and offer up prayers of thanksgiving.  For prayer request or to join the team, please contact Nina Zoch or the church office.

    • Recycling - House of Prayer cares for creation and recycles household items: ink cartridges, compact florescent light bulbs, paper, and plastic. Drop off your items in the church office.  
    • Quilting Groups meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month as well as the 4th Thursday of the month and donates their quilts to Lutheran World Relief.   
              
    • Women of the ELCA – All women of the church are members of the Women of the ELCA who are called to act boldy on their faith in Jesus Christ. Contact Beverly Curtice
