and even that one will be somewhat abbreviated as we, as an entire congregation, seek to participate in "God's Work. Our Hands." Sunday being observed in Evangelical Lutheran Churches in America congregations throughout the country.  We are invited to come to worship that day in our work clothes ready to do some physical ministry in and around our church building and our neighborhood.  Watch the Sunday bulletin and the September newsletter for details.

Our Program Director, Curtis Bradbury and Sunday School Coordinator Michelle Kallesen have gathered great teachers and a great curriculum to kick off the Fall Sunday School season. Sign up your child(ren) or grandchild(ren) here! Click on the link and register on-line! It's quick, easy, and the information you fill out is immediately e-mailed to Curtis. Registration is very important this year, so that we can know the correct amount of books/supplies to order. Even if your child is only able to attend one or two times a month or one or two times a semester, we'll order supplies for your child. Register today:

"And We Will" ...remember Day Camp!
Thanks to everyone who helped make our 2016 Lutherhill Day Camp and Bible Preschool a wonderful success!  So many thanks go to Marianne Schmidt and Geri Spratlin who coordinated the Counselors, Volunteers, campers and church staff; your work "behind the scenes" made this week a God-filled experience to first-time campers and repeat campers alike! 12 high school youth and 2 adult leaders from House of Prayer joined up with 30,000 other Lutheran Youth and Adults at the National Youth Gathering in Detroit, MI (July 15-19).
